Walnut Cafe Santa Cruz is a very popular breakfast Santa Cruz Restaurant located in the downtown Santa Cruz area. To see what people on the street were saying about this restaurant in Santa Cruz, we went out and did some undercover reviews of Walnut Cafe Santa Cruz. This is what our reviewers said of Walnut Cafe Santa Cruz, without even knowing they were being reviewed! My absolutely favorite breakfast restaurant in Santa Cruz. Every town needs great, go-to breakfast restaurants, and I think this is it for Santa Cruz. Great omelets, I eat it up with toast and jam. There can for sure be a big wait at this place, but it's a good place to bring people from out of town. I really think its worth the wait, best of all worlds, go on a weekday and avoid the unwashed masses at these Santa Cruz restaurants. Kevin S.
Santa Cruz, CA Love love LOVE this Santa Cruz restaurant. Delicious breakfast- I've never been disappointed by any one of their menu items, and I've been coming here since I was a child (in fact, I still order the same thing- french toast and hot chocolate mmm!). The servers are polite and efficient. If there's ever a wait, it's only because the place is packed (it's that good!) If you're a local, you know this is a great place to get a bite to eat, and if you're just passing through Santa Cruz, you should really stop by. Tim K.
Santa Cruz, CA Ok so i use to love this place, was my fave and my husband swore to the fact that it was the best coffee in town but lately we have stopped going and instead opt for Hoffmans every time. I feel like this place has gone down hill, every time we come the food it not as good as I remember it and the place looks like they are not cleaning it enough. I hope it goes back to the way it use to be cause it is such a shame. Jenny L.

Thanks for the nice comments Frederick. Yeah I like to review them about these restaurants without them actually knowing because I think this is the only way to get unbiased reviews. The only bad part about this strategy is how some of the people think I'm crazy when I ask them how their lunch was!
