My 10 year-old daughter and I started taking lessons with Bud Freitas without much prior surfing experience and he made us feel really confident in the water. We learned a lot in our lessons and we are now surfing on our own. Bud Freitas supplies the board and wetsuits too. That is a big plus as you don't have to deal with renting before your lesson.
